Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture customer relationships through proactive communication and timely follow-ups
- Identify and develop new service opportunities with both existing and prospective clients
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions
- Educate clients about insurance options using a customer-focused, needs-based review process
- Prepare insurance quotes, conduct sales presentations, and close sales with integrity
- Build and maintain ongoing networking relationships to grow the agency’s client base
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to daily success and continuous improvement
- Provide regular and thorough activity reports to the agent for transparency and accountability
- Stay up-to-date on product changes, industry trends, licensing requirements, and technical developments through ongoing education

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required prior to start date)
- Life and Health insurance license (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to solve problems independently
