We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join a State Farm Agent's team as a Full-time team member. This position offers the opportunity to work with a respected independent contractor agent, providing outstanding customer service while supporting the agency’s growth and success. Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture customer relationships, ensuring positive interactions and timely follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Educate customers on insurance options using a needs-based review process tailored to each client’s situation.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to daily success, supporting the goals of the agency and its clients.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring clear communication and transparency in all customer service activities.
- Remain current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education to maintain active licenses and professional knowledge.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service.
- Capability to learn and effectively use computer functions relevant to daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrated pride in completing work accurately and efficiently.
