We are currently seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join a successful State Farm Agent team as a full-time, in-office team member in Lakewood Ranch, FL. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverages, changes, transfers, claims, and billing clarifications with professionalism and accuracy.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about available insurance options and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving success each day.
- Deliver timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, keeping them informed on customer interactions and issues resolved.
- Stay current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education to maintain a high level of expertise.
- Work effectively within a team environment and support other staff as needed.
- Proactively identify and solve problems to enhance customer satisfaction and improve agency performance.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Property and Casualty insurance license required (2-15, 2-20, or 4-40 prior to start date).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in learning and utilizing agency computer systems and software.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
