The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (Property & Casualty), full-time in St Louis Park, MN, plays a critical role in providing exceptional service and support to insurance clients. This position is an integral part of a State Farm Agent’s team, focusing on client satisfaction and policy management within the property and casualty insurance sector. The role requires an active Property and Casualty insurance license and a strong commitment to delivering personalized service and support to customers. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will support the agency by fostering positive relationships, addressing policyholder inquiries, and ensuring all transactions comply with industry regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurance customers through attentive, proactive communication and follow-up.
- Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, claims processes, billing, and policy transfers.
- Educate customers on insurance products and options using a customer-focused, needs-based approach to help them make informed decisions.
- Process policy changes, assist with claim submissions, and clarify billing information, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service by addressing client needs and resolving concerns swiftly and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to achieve agency objectives and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
- Stay informed about product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education to deliver up-to-date information to customers.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports and documentation to the supervising agent.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required to be considered for this full-time position in St Louis Park, MN.
- Must be able to commute to the agency office; this is not a remote role.
- Life and Health license is preferred or must be obtained as part of ongoing employment requirements.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to listen actively and respond thoughtfully to customer needs.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
