Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative for a full-time opportunity with a State Farm independent contractor agent. This role is designed for individuals who possess an active insurance license and have a passion for providing outstanding customer service within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting business growth, engaging in value-driven conversations, and delivering a superior experience to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring regular follow-up and proactive service.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly assistance in areas such as insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, coverage options, claims, and billing inquiries.
- Educate clients using a needs-based review process to help them understand and select appropriate insurance products.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving success daily.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Prepare and provide timely activity and progress reports to the agent.
- Remain current on industry product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education.
- Active license in Property & Casualty or Life & Health insurance required prior to start date.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish or Ukrainian are preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with basic computer functions and willingness to learn new systems as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to accurate, timely work and high standards of customer service.
