Responsibilities
- Develop leads through proactive outreach, networking, and value-based conversations to identify new business opportunities in insurance sales.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend suitable products, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance options.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication, timely follow-up, and attentive service.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions, and billing clarification.
- Meet and strive to exceed agency sales goals and quotas while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
Qualifications
- Experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred, with a demonstrated history of achieving sales objectives.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses is required for this full-time role.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex insurance concepts to customers.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to build rapport and effectively relate to customers of diverse backgrounds.
- Sales experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail, or telemarketing is highly valued.
