Licensed Insurance Agent - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new leads through proactive outreach and networking
- Schedule and conduct appointments to assess customer insurance needs
- Market and recommend appropriate insurance products and services tailored to client requirements
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing ongoing support and follow-up
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service by addressing inquiries about coverage options, policy details, eligibility, changes, transfers, claims, and billing matters
- Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics established by the agency
- Maintain detailed, organized records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Active Life & Health insurance license preferred
- Prior experience in insurance sales, outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred
- Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is desirable
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven relationship-building and customer service abilities
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and integrity
