Licensed Insurance Agent - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments to expand the agency's client base.
- Identify customer needs and market appropriate insurance products and services, including auto, home, and life insurance.
- Establish strong, lasting customer relationships by providing prompt, accurate, and friendly service at every stage of the insurance process.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Follow up with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable licensing and training requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty license required; Life & Health license preferred (must be able to obtain if not already held).
- Previous experience in insurance sales is highly valued; experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail, or telemarketing is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to customers and cultivate trust-based relationships.
