Licensed Insurance Agent Job OverviewWe are seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent (also known as Insurance Sales Agent or Insurance Producer) to join our award-winning team with State Farm. Responsibilities- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and nurture customer relationships, following up to ensure satisfaction and address ongoing or emerging needs.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Engage in value-driven conversations to educate clients about insurance options and coverage details, helping them make informed decisions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve agency sales goals and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Previous insurance sales experience preferred; candidates with a background in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing are encouraged to apply.
- Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license preferred; candidates must be able to obtain these licenses if not already licensed.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills—including written, verbal, and listening abilities—are essential for providing outstanding customer service and building trust with clients.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to a diverse customer base.
