Licensed Insurance Agent Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and licensed Insurance Agent to join a successful and well-established State Farm agency team in Arizona on a full-time, remote basis. As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will play a key role in providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to both new and existing clients. Our agency has a rich history of over 50 years serving the local community with trusted insurance solutions, supported by a team with over a century of combined industry experience. We leverage digital tools to help our customers adapt to changing insurance needs, and we pride ourselves on fostering strong, lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and customer-focused service in all interactions.
- Educate policyholders about insurance products and options using a needs-based approach.
- Consistently demonstrate a high work ethic and commitment to achieving team and individual goals.
- Identify and cultivate new service opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agency owner as required.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing education.
- Effectively use digital resources to support clients and office operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with State Farm insurance operations (required).
- Active Arizona Property and Casualty license (required).
- Arizona Life and Health license (preferred, not required).
- Ability to work agency office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
- Competency in learning and utilizing computer functions and digital platforms.
