Key Responsibilities- Develop and cultivate leads through various channels, including prospecting and networking, to schedule appointments and identify customer insurance needs.
- Market and recommend appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring clients receive optimal coverage options.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, providing follow-up support as necessary to address questions and concerns.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Life & Health insurance license is preferred.
- Prior insurance sales experience, especially in property, casualty, life, or health insurance, is preferred.
- Proven sales experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is desirable.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential for this full-time role in Oxon Hill, MD.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to build rapport and effectively relate to customers from diverse backgrounds.
