Licensed Insurance Agent Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team on a full-time basis in Arlington, TN. As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service and support to clients while helping them navigate various insurance options. This opportunity is within a State Farm independent contractor agency, offering valuable industry experience and the chance to make a meaningful impact on customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new leads through proactive outreach, networking, and marketing efforts to expand the agency’s customer base.
- Schedule and conduct appointments to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and address ongoing needs.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage details, policy changes, claim submissions, transfers, and billing clarifications.
- Educate customers on available insurance options using a needs-based review process, helping them make informed decisions about their coverage.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals for success.
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
- Life and Health insurance license preferred.
- Previous insurance sales experience preferred; experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas is advantageous.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time and priorities.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to relate effectively to a diverse range of clients.
- Ability to commute to the Arlington, TN office location for in-office work requirements.
- Base salary plus commission and bonus opportunities.
