Legal Operations Analyst - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the complete life cycle of law firm invoicing, verifying accuracy and compliance with policy requirements.
- Efficiently set up and onboard legal vendors, ensuring all documentation and compliance standards are met.
- Conduct initial reviews of incoming legal invoices, evaluating them for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal legal and finance teams to address questions and resolve discrepancies in invoice and vendor management.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records, reporting, and documentation related to legal spend and vendor relationships.
- Utilize legal billing platforms, such as CounselLink, and eBilling systems to streamline invoice workflows.
- Coordinate effectively with external law firms and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to process improvements within the legal operations department by identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in legal operations, law firm billing, or related financial or administrative roles.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with legal billing platforms, with CounselLink experience preferred.
- Proficiency with eBilling systems, invoice workflows, Excel, and document management tools.
- Solid understanding of legal operations or law firm billing practices and procedures.
