Leasing Consultant - Summary- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents
- Provide comprehensive property tours and highlight community amenities
- Support leasing operations, application processing, and documentation
- Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals
- Foster a positive resident experience and promote community engagement
- Welcome and greet all prospective residents, conduct thorough property tours, and showcase amenities and available floor plans
- Respond professionally and efficiently to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
- Qualify prospects, explain lease terms, fees, and application requirements, and assist with the application and approval process
- Prepare and execute lease agreements, renewals, and move-in documentation with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain real-time awareness of unit availability, pricing, incentives, and ongoing community promotions
- Follow up with prospects to facilitate lead conversion and achieve targeted occupancy rates
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi or RealPage) to track leads, applications, and leasing activities
- Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to ensure move-in readiness and promptly address resident concerns
- Handle resident relations with professionalism, escalating maintenance or policy issues as appropriate
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly leasing and occupancy targets, and communicate activity reports to management
- Participate in community events, property tours, marketing campaigns, and maintain active online listings and social media presence

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred

- Basic math skills and proficiency in explaining lease terms and fees
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management or CRM software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for off-site property tours as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or real estate licensing is an advantage
