As a Leasing Consultant, you are the first point of contact for individuals seeking information about apartment availability, amenities, and community life. This position is responsible for supporting all leasing activities, conducting property tours, managing resident relations, and ensuring a seamless move-in process. Leasing Consultant - Summary
As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the primary liaison between property management and potential or current residents. Your main objectives include promoting available apartment homes, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the apartment community. Duties & Responsibilities
- Warmly greet prospective residents and conduct informative property tours to showcase community amenities, available floor plans, and unique features.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring all questions are addressed in a timely manner.
- Qualify incoming prospects by explaining lease terms, associated fees, and application requirements, guiding them through the entire leasing process.
- Accurately prepare, execute, and process lease agreements, renewals, and move-in documentation, ensuring thoroughness and compliance with all policies.
- Monitor and update information on unit availability, pricing, special incentives, and community promotions to provide prospective residents with current details.
- Actively follow up with leads and prospects to convert interest into leases, utilizing property management software such as Yardi or RealPage to track interactions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure units are move-in ready and promptly resolve any resident concerns or issues.
- Handle resident relations with professionalism, addressing questions and concerns courteously and escalating maintenance or policy issues when necessary.
- Achieve or surpass weekly and monthly leasing and occupancy targets, reporting progress and activity to the management team for strategic planning.
- Participate in marketing efforts including community events, tours, online listings, social media promotions, and open houses to attract new residents.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or hospitality is preferred.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional off-site showings or errands.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or real estate licensing is a plus.
