Leasing Consultant - Summary
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents throughout the leasing process.
- Showcase community amenities, available units, and promote property features to potential tenants.
- Support the team in meeting occupancy goals and maintaining positive resident relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents warmly and conduct thorough property tours, highlighting amenities and floor plans.
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, and online inquiries regarding available units and leasing terms.
- Qualify prospective tenants, explain lease terms, associated fees, and application requirements.
- Assist applicants with the leasing process, including application submissions, approvals, and status updates.
- Prepare and execute lease paperwork, renewals, and move-in documentation with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of unit availability, pricing structures, special incentives, and ongoing community promotions.
- Follow up consistently with leads to convert prospects and contribute to achieving occupancy targets.
- Track lead activity and resident interactions using property management software, such as Yardi or RealPage.
- Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to ensure units are move-in ready and resident concerns are resolved.
- Handle resident relations issues courteously and escalate maintenance or policy concerns as appropriate.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly leasing and occupancy targets, regularly reporting activity to management.
- Participate in community events, property tours, and marketing initiatives, including online listings, social media outreach, and open houses.

Qualifications & Requirements
