Leasing Consultant - Summary- Serve as an ambassador for the apartment community, welcoming prospective residents and providing informative property tours.
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to track leads and manage leasing activities efficiently.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of available units, pricing, and current promotions to support leasing objectives.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and coordinate with maintenance for timely unit readiness and issue resolution.
- Represent the community with professionalism and enthusiasm, upholding company values at every stage of the leasing process.
- Greet prospective residents and conduct engaging property tours, demonstrating amenities and various floor plans.
- Promptly and professionally respond to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring all potential residents receive timely information.
- Qualify prospects by explaining leasing terms, fees, and application requirements, assisting throughout the application and approval process.
- Accurately prepare and execute lease agreements, renewal documents, and move-in paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain current knowledge of unit availability, pricing structures, incentives, and community marketing promotions.
- Follow up with prospects to convert leads, achieve leasing targets, and report occupancy activity to management.
- Coordinate with on-site maintenance and management teams to ensure timely unit preparation and move-in readiness.
- Address resident relations issues courteously, escalating maintenance or policy matters as necessary for swift resolution.
- Participate in community events, marketing campaigns, open houses, and online outreach efforts to promote the property.
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi or RealPage) to manage leasing workflow and track communication and activities.
