Lead Platform Engineer - Summary- Lead the engineering, operation, and evolution of a production API gateway for enterprise-level AI legal platforms.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and high performance of the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide technical architecture and successful delivery.
- Play a crucial role in authentication, authorization, and identity management for secure API access.
- Own and operate a multi-tenant API gateway used by enterprise customers.
- Lead and mentor platform engineering team members in best practices for platform reliability, scalability, and security.
- Architect and implement authentication, authorization, and identity management solutions for secure access to APIs.
- Drive the development and optimization of high-performance, scalable API integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to align on architecture and delivery milestones.
- Maintain platform stability through proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK to manage cloud resources efficiently.

- Advanced hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI in production environments.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services, including ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache/Redis, and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK).
- Proven track record in building and operating enterprise-scale API platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation in cloud environments.
