We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our front-line production team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our commercial laundry plant.
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for supporting a variety of tasks essential to our high-capacity laundry facility’s daily production. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet the needs of healthcare and hospitality clients by guaranteeing the timely and accurate processing of linens and textiles. Laundry Attendant - Summary- Integral member of the production team responsible for processing hospital and hospitality linens.
- Performs a range of laundry services including loading, sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and packing.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and production targets throughout all tasks.
- Maintain the flow of linens through tunnel washers, dryers, and other industrial laundry equipment.
- Load and unload laundry into washer and dryer pockets according to established procedures and load sizes, avoiding overloads.
- Sort soiled linens and prepare them for washing.
- Operate commercial ironing, folding, and packing equipment to finish processed linens.
- Monitor equipment and linen flow to ensure production standards are met per hour.
- Report any technical issues or frequent problems to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
