The Laundry Production Worker plays a critical role within the high-capacity commercial laundry environment, supporting smooth plant operations and meeting the daily needs of customers. Laundry Production Worker - Summary- Essential member of the commercial laundry production team, supporting high-capacity plant operations.
- Responsible for diverse tasks including operating industrial washing and drying machines, sorting, folding, ironing, and packaging linens.
- Ensures all tasks are performed in accordance with company safety and quality standards.
- Contributes directly to the delivery of clean, safe linens for healthcare and hospitality clients.
- Maintain consistent flow of linen into washers, dryers, and tunnel equipment to support continuous production.
- Operate laundry machinery and monitor for proper function and safety.
- Sort soiled linens, load laundry into machine pockets, and ensure correct load sizes to prevent overloading.
- Follow instructions and safety protocols to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Meet or exceed established production standards for output and quality.
- Promptly notify supervisors of technical issues or barriers to meeting production goals.
- Perform folding, ironing, packing, and distribution of clean linens for shipment or delivery.
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or plant management.
