Laundry Production Worker - Summary- Integral member of the commercial laundry production team
- Supports various production tasks to meet high-volume customer needs
- Operates and maintains industrial laundry equipment
- Ensures consistent quality and workflow in all aspects of linen processing
- Maintain steady flow of linens into washers, dryers, tunnels, and other equipment
- Sort soiled linens and textiles according to established procedures
- Properly load linens into machine pockets, ensuring correct load size and preventing overload
- Operate dryers, washers, and commercial ironing equipment as directed
- Perform tasks such as folding, sewing/mending, stain washing, and packing linens for distribution
- Follow all safety protocols and production directions
- Adhere to hourly production standards set by the facility
- Notify supervisor of any recurring technical issues impacting productivity
- Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient plant operations
