Laundry Production Worker - Summary- Key member of the commercial laundry facility production team
- Responsible for supporting the flow and processing of linens and textiles
- Operates various equipment, including dryers, washers, and commercial irons
- Performs essential related tasks such as soil sorting, stain treatment, folding, and packing
- Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards
- Reports to the production supervisor and follows established protocols
- Maintain the steady flow of linen through the tunnel, washers, dryers, and other processing stations
- Pull bags and process laundry activities as specified by production order
- Load linens into empty pockets in the tunnel and continue to load as pockets transfer
- Ensure pockets are loaded with the correct load size while preventing overloading
- Follow all directions and adhere strictly to safety precautions
- Maintain production standards as determined per hour
- Notify supervisor of any technical problems affecting production
- Perform other assigned duties to support overall production goals
