Laundry Production Worker - Summary- Contributes to the daily production operations of a high-capacity commercial laundry facility.
- Works collaboratively as a member of the production team to ensure timely and accurate processing of textiles.
- Supports critical industries by delivering clean, well-maintained linens and textiles to customers.
- Maintain the flow of linen and textiles through industrial washers, dryers, and associated equipment.
- Load linens into machine pockets, ensuring correct load size and preventing overloads to optimize machine efficiency.
- Sort soiled linens and prepare them for appropriate washing cycles.
- Operate dryer units, monitor drying times, and ensure output meets quality standards.
- Perform folding, commercial ironing, packing, and distribution of cleaned items according to facility procedures.
- Identify and perform basic mending or sewing repairs on damaged textiles as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and production procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Notify supervisors promptly if technical issues arise that affect production targets.
