Laundry Production Operator - Summary- Integral member of the production team in a commercial laundry environment.
- Performs tasks such as dryer operation, wash operation, stain removal, sewing/mending, soil sorting, folding, ironing, packing, and distributing linens.
- Ensures high standards of quality and efficiency are met at all times.
- Contributes to a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
- Maintain continuous flow of linen through all stages of the laundry process, including tunnels, washers, and dryers.
- Sort soiled items, pull bags, and process laundry according to designated order and company procedures.
- Load linens into machine pockets, ensuring correct load sizes and prevention of overloads.
- Follow all directions and safety precautions to protect yourself and team members.
- Meet or exceed production standards as determined by company guidelines on an hourly basis.
- Notify supervisor promptly if technical problems interfere with production targets.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the plant.
