Laundry Production Operator - Summary- Integral member of the commercial laundry production team
- Performs a range of tasks supporting the end-to-end laundry process
- Ensures the continuous flow and proper handling of linens and textiles
- Operates laundry equipment, including dryers and washers
- Adheres to company standards for safety, quality, and productivity
- Maintain flow of linens into tunnel washers, dryers, and other processing equipment
- Pull laundry bags or manage other designated laundry activities in the correct sequence
- Load linen into empty pockets in tunnel washers, ensuring correct and consistent load sizes
- Prevent overloads by monitoring equipment capacity and following standard procedures
- Follow all directions and safety precautions at every stage of the process
- Meet or exceed established hourly production standards
- Immediately report recurring technical problems to supervisor
- Assist with folding, commercial ironing, packing, and distribution as needed
- Perform sewing, mending, and stain removal tasks as assigned
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
