The Laundry Production Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a high-capacity commercial laundry facility. As an integral member of the production team, the Laundry Production Operator is responsible for supporting daily operations to ensure that all customer needs are met through quality and timely handling of linen and laundry materials. Laundry Production Operator - Summary- Key member of the commercial laundry plant production team
- Supports essential processes such as sorting, weighing, washing, drying, folding, and packing linen
- Ensures timely and accurate completion of assigned production tasks
- Adheres to safety guidelines and production quotas
- Maintain a continuous flow of linen into tunnel washers, dryers, and other processing equipment
- Pull bags and process laundry items in the designated order to maintain operational efficiency
- Load linen into empty pockets within tunnel systems, ensuring correct load sizes and preventing overloading
- Monitor production lines to ensure they remain operational and efficient throughout the shift
- Follow all direction, operational guidelines, and safety precautions as provided by supervisors
- Meet or exceed hourly production standards as established by management
- Notify supervisors promptly if technical issues or other problems arise that impact production goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall plant operations
