Laundry Production Operator - Summary- Plays a key role in the commercial laundry production process
- Handles a variety of tasks including loading, sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and packing textiles
- Ensures adherence to safety and production standards
- Works collaboratively within a production team to meet strict deadlines
- Maintain the continuous flow of linen and textiles into tunnel washers, dryers, and other machinery
- Load linen into machine pockets, monitoring load size for efficiency and quality
- Sort soiled laundry by type and process according to established procedures
- Operate stain washing, sewing, and mending equipment as needed
- Fold, iron, pack, and prepare finished products for distribution
- Follow all safety precautions and operational instructions
- Meet or exceed production standards as set by supervision
- Report any recurring technical problems to supervisors for timely resolution
- Perform additional production-related tasks as assigned by management
