As a Laundry Production Operator, you will be integral in keeping the workflow steady throughout the production floor. Your responsibilities will include feeding soiled linens into washers and dryers, monitoring the operation of machines, and handling textiles in accordance with established safety and production standards. Laundry Production Operator - Summary- Key front-line role supporting commercial laundry production
- Responsible for multiple aspects of linen processing and preparation
- Works collaboratively with other team members and supervisors
- Involved in maintaining production flow and quality assurance
- Maintain the steady flow of linens into washers, dryers, and related machinery
- Load linens into empty pockets or machines, ensuring correct load sizes and preventing overloading
- Sort soiled textiles and process them according to established procedures
- Operate as a dryer operator, wash operator, stain washer, or sewing/mending specialist as needed
- Perform folding, commercial ironing, packing, and distribution of finished items
- Follow all safety precautions and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain and achieve production standards as determined per hour
- Notify supervisors promptly if technical problems affect the ability to meet production goals
- Assist with other related duties as assigned to support overall plant operations
- Minimum wage for this position is $20.80 per hour
