The Laundry Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an industrial laundry facility specializing in healthcare linen processing and delivery. This position is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the laundry production process are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The Laundry Production Manager collaborates closely with various department leaders to maintain high-quality output, manage staff development, and control operational costs. As the Laundry Production Manager, you will work to ensure that all staff are adequately trained and capable of producing high-quality linen products. You will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in managing financial aspects of the facility, including monitoring costs and expenses to ensure the plant's cost-effective operation. Safety is a priority, and you will play a significant role in maintaining a safe work environment by working as a liaison with the Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager to ensure all production equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.

This position also involves supporting the Office Manager with human resource functions. Tasks include overseeing training, regulatory compliance, staffing, payroll, and benefits administration to ensure all are conducted within company policy. As a participant in the plant safety committee, the Laundry Production Manager ensures compliance with key regulatory bodies such as HLAC, OSHA, and JACHAO, staying up to date with industry standards and best practices.

Your responsibilities will extend to attending and documenting laundry surveys for potential clients, supporting the Operations Manager with annual staff performance reviews, and contributing to disciplinary and coaching procedures. Forecasting for capital requests and expenditures, managing the installation of new equipment, and reviewing productivity improvement initiatives with the engineering team are also essential aspects of this position. You will be expected to develop action plans and Personal Development Plans (PDP) for the supervisory team to support their professional growth and prepare for the facility’s future needs, including succession planning.
