Laundry Production Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and train staff to produce high-quality linen products efficiently.
- Work with the Operations Manager to oversee financial performance, cost management, and expense control.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment for all employees.
- Act as a liaison with the Chief Engineer to ensure proper operation and maintenance of production equipment.
- Assist the Office Manager in coordinating human resource functions, including training, regulatory compliance, staffing, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Participate in the plant safety committee and ensure regulatory compliance with HLAC, OSHA, and JCAHO requirements.
- Conduct and document laundry surveys for potential clients.
- Support annual staff performance appraisals and manage disciplinary or improvement procedures as needed.
- Forecast capital requests and expenditures in collaboration with the Operations Manager and Chief Engineer, including managing new equipment installations and productivity improvements.
- Develop action plans and Personal Development Plans (PDP) for the supervisory team, supporting their growth and succession planning.

Qualifications & Requirements
- BS/BA in Management or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of operations or management experience, ideally within large-scale laundry or commercial operations.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including oral presentations.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to set and manage priorities.
- Proficient in Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
