Laundry Production Manager - Summary
- Responsible for the daily management and oversight of industrial laundry operations focused on healthcare linen processing and delivery.
- Leads staff training and development to ensure efficient, high-quality production output.
- Works collaboratively with operations, engineering, and office management to maintain a safe and cost-effective plant environment.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards and company policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and train staff to achieve high standards in linen production quality and efficiency.
- Assist the Operations Manager in managing plant financials, including costs and expenses.
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and agency requirements (HLAC, OSHA, JCAHO).
- Coordinate with engineering management to oversee equipment maintenance and operational safety.
- Support the Office Manager in handling HR-related tasks such as training, compliance, staffing, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Participate in the plant safety committee and oversee regulatory compliance efforts.
- Attend and document laundry surveys for potential new clients to support business development.
- Support employee performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and coaching for continuous improvement.
- Assist in forecasting capital requests, managing equipment installation, and evaluating productivity improvements.
- Develop and implement action plans and personal development plans for supervisory staff, focusing on succession planning and the growth of the company’s corporate culture.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of management experience in operations, preferably in large-scale or commercial laundry environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other Windows-based office software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
