Laundry Production Associate - Summary- Integral team member in a large-scale commercial laundry production plant.
- Handles a variety of tasks, including but not limited to operating dryers and washers, soil sorting, folding, commercial ironing, packing, sewing/mending, and distributing laundry items.
- Directly contributes to meeting customer demands by adhering to production schedules and quality standards.
- Process laundry by pulling bags and organizing items in designated order for production.
- Operate machinery such as dryers and washers under supervision and safety guidelines.
- Sort soiled items and prepare them for cleaning, ensuring items are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct folding, commercial ironing, and packing of items for distribution to customers.
- Perform sewing or mending on garments or linens as required.
- Follow all established safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Meet or exceed hourly production standards as set by the management team.
- Communicate equipment or process issues to supervisors to support continuous improvement.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support production goals.
