Laundry Operations Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage daily laundry facility operations, ensuring efficient processing and delivery of healthcare linens.
- Develop, train, and supervise staff to promote high standards in quality and safety.
- Coordinate with engineering to maintain and safely operate all production equipment.
- Collaborate with office management to oversee HR compliance, including training, regulatory matters, staffing, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Chair or co-chair the plant safety committee and ensure regulatory compliance with agencies such as HLAC, OSHA, and JACHAO.
- Support the General Manager with Joint Commission, Linen Committee, and operating committee functions within the facility and client organizations.
- Participate in and document laundry surveys for potential clients, contributing to business development.
- Assist in conducting annual performance appraisals, coaching, counseling, and corrective action for staff improvement.
- Develop action plans and Personal Development Plans (PDP) for the supervisory team to foster their professional growth.
- Oversee efficiency management, including utilities, supplies, linen purchases, and inventory control for cost-effective operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
