Laundry Equipment Technician - Summary
- Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of commercial laundry machinery within a production facility.
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and responds to emergent repair needs as they arise.
- Monitors assigned equipment, identifies issues promptly, and takes corrective action to minimize production interruptions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on commercial laundry equipment as per established schedules.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair tasks are completed in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Assist technical and mechanical team members, including external vendors, as necessary.
- Document all maintenance activities, incomplete tasks, and new issues in the maintenance log.
- Report to production supervisors on equipment status, especially if issues may impact production or cause downtime.
- Diagnose and correct mechanical issues, including jams, belt problems, and ironer tape issues.
- Order necessary parts and manage parts inventory efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tag out procedures, confined space entry, and working on hot equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
