Laundry Equipment Technician - Summary
- Responsible for performing preventative and emergent maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on laundry equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical problems such as jams, damaged or missing belts, and faulty ironer tape.
- Respond promptly to emergent repair needs and restore equipment to service efficiently.
- Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including coordination with outside vendors for specialized repairs or parts.
- Keep thorough maintenance logs, recording incomplete tasks, new problems, and resolution steps.
- Notify production supervisors about equipment issues that may impact production or cause downtime, as well as when equipment is restored to service.
- Order parts from approved vendors and manage an inventory of critical spare parts.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and safe operation of tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the laundry facility.
