Laundry Attendant - Summary
- Responsible for performing thorough laundry services including cleaning, sorting, and distributing linens.
- Supports smooth facility operations through efficient linen management and sanitation practices.
- Consistently delivers quality customer service to clients, customers, and team members.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sorts, washes, and dries linens according to approved procedures.
- Folds, counts, and stacks linens with attention to detail and consistency.
- Collects soiled linens, redistributes clean linens, and maintains accurate records of laundry items.
- Transports both clean and soiled linens to designated storage and collection areas, ensuring timely distribution.
- Provides attentive customer service, addressing any concerns regarding linen quality or availability.
- Inspects linens for wear and tear, identifies damaged items, and follows protocols for handling such items.
- Keeps the commercial and residential laundry areas clean, orderly, and sanitary at all times.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support the laundry and housekeeping teams.
