The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role as a member of the front-line production team in a high-capacity commercial laundry operation. This full-time position is responsible for carrying out a variety of essential tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of customer linens and textiles. The Laundry Attendant's responsibilities encompass multiple roles within the laundry facility, including but not limited to operating dryers and washers, sorting soiled items, stain treatment, folding, commercial ironing, sewing or mending, and preparing linens for packing and distribution.
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be directly involved in maintaining the steady flow of laundry through different stages of the production process. Your attention to detail and adherence to established safety protocols will help the team consistently meet or exceed production standards. This role is vital to the overall mission of providing clean, high-quality linens and textiles to customers, making it an important part of daily operations within the laundry services sector.

Laundry Attendant - Summary- Integral part of the commercial laundry production team
- Supports the full cycle of laundry processing, from soiled sorting to distribution
- Ensures production standards are met to deliver high-quality service to customers
- Maintain the flow of linen into washers, dryers, and other equipment as needed
- Pull laundry bags and process items according to operational procedures
- Load linens into machine pockets, ensuring correct load sizes and preventing overloading
- Monitor and maintain production standards as determined per hour
- Perform stain washing, sewing, mending, folding, commercial ironing, and packing
- Sort soiled items accurately and efficiently
- Follow all provided directions and safety precautions to ensure a safe and productive work environment
- Immediately notify supervisor of any technical issues affecting production
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by management
