Laundry Attendant - Summary
- Responsible for performing all aspects of laundry operations, including the cleaning, sorting, folding, and distribution of linens to various departments and clients.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization in all laundry facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Properly sorts linens by type, color, and level of soiling, following approved laundry procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- Operates industrial washers and dryers, adhering to recommended settings and cycles for various fabrics and items.
- Folds, counts, and stacks linens with precision, ensuring all items meet the required standards of cleanliness and presentation before distribution.
- Collects soiled linens from designated areas and redistributes clean linens to appropriate storage or service areas.
- Transports both clean and soiled linens safely using designated carts or bins to minimize manual handling and maintain hygiene.
- Routinely inspects all linens for damage, wear, or staining, and follows established procedures for removing or reporting damaged items.
- Keeps laundry rooms and all related equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Provides excellent customer service by assisting clients and staff with linen-related requests and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assists with inventory control by tracking linen usage and alerting supervisors to any shortages or discrepancies.
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors to support the overall success of the team.
