Laundry Attendant - Summary- Supports the efficient operation of a high-volume hospitality laundry facility
- Processes, sorts, and maintains the flow of linen and laundry items through various production stages
- Operates commercial washers, dryers, folding equipment, and irons as needed
- Ensures all tasks are performed according to company quality and safety standards
- Works collaboratively with production team members to achieve daily output targets
- Maintain the steady flow of linen into washers, dryers, and other processing equipment
- Sort and process soiled laundry according to established procedures
- Load laundry items into washers and dryers, ensuring correct load size and preventing overload
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings as instructed to optimize performance
- Follow all safety instructions and standard operating procedures
- Meet or exceed hourly production standards as set by management
- Notify supervisors of any recurring technical issues impacting production
- Assist in folding, ironing, packing, and distributing finished laundry items
- Support stain removal, basic sewing, or mending as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support plant operations
