The Laundry Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at hospitality establishments. As an integral member of the housekeeping and support team, the Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all resort bed linens, towels, and food and beverage table linens are sorted, processed, and finished efficiently and according to established protocols. This position requires proficiency in operating a variety of laundry equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment. The Laundry Attendant reports directly to the General Manager of Laundry and/or the Laundry Supervisor, working closely with other team members to maintain seamless operations and outstanding guest satisfaction.
Within this role, the Laundry Attendant must adhere to all cleanliness and safety standards to guarantee that every item processed meets or exceeds the resort's expectations. The position requires the ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion without compromising quality. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. The Laundry Attendant is also expected to maintain the confidentiality of guest information and any relevant resort data, upholding professionalism at all times.

Laundry Attendant - Summary- Responsible for sorting, processing, and finishing all soiled linens and towels in accordance with hospitality standards
- Operates various laundry machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Reports directly to the Laundry Supervisor or General Manager of Laundry
- Ensures all items meet quality and cleanliness expectations
- Sort soiled resort bed linens, terry, and food and beverage table linens before processing
- Operate all laundry cleaning machinery in compliance with company policies
- Process, finish, and fold clean linens and towels to resort standards
- Conduct regular linen inventories and assist with stock management
- Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain confidentiality of all guest information and resort data
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
