Laundry Attendant - Summary- Core member of the commercial laundry production team
- Responsible for various operational tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packing linens
- Ensures production goals and quality standards are consistently met
- Plays a direct role in customer satisfaction through delivery of clean, well-prepared textiles
- Pull and process laundry items in the designated order, ensuring efficient workflow throughout the production line
- Load linens and textiles into machine pockets and maintain correct load sizes to prevent overloading
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as dryers, washers, and ironers in accordance with company protocols
- Sort soiled linens and textiles by type and degree of soil to optimize processing
- Perform stain treatment, sewing, and mending as needed to extend the lifespan of linens
- Fold, iron, and pack clean laundry items to meet company and customer standards
- Follow all safety guidelines and production procedures to ensure a secure workplace
- Meet or exceed hourly production targets as set by management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and smooth workflow
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $18.25
