Laundry Attendant - Summary- Responsible for performing laundry and valet services, including cleaning, sorting, folding, and distributing linens and uniforms.
- Provides quality customer service and supports the hospitality team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Operates within established procedures to ensure efficient and hygienic laundry operations.
- Sorts, washes, and dries linens and uniforms according to approved laundry procedures.
- Folds, counts, and stacks linens with accuracy and care.
- Collects soiled linens and uniforms and redistributes clean items throughout the property.
- Transports laundry supplies, including both clean and soiled items, to designated storage and collection areas efficiently.
- Inspects linens and uniforms for wear and tear, identifies damaged or worn items, and follows proper procedures for handling these materials.
- Identifies uniforms that require mending and ensures they are processed accordingly.
- Maintains laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Provides attentive customer service, ensuring guest and team member needs are met with professionalism.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support overall hotel operations.
