Laundry Attendant - Summary- Responsible for sorting, cleaning, processing, and distributing employee uniforms, guest garments, and hotel linens.
- Ensures all laundry items are handled according to established protocols for washing, dry cleaning, pressing, and repair as needed.
- Supports the hospitality team by maintaining a continuous flow of clean and well-presented linens and uniforms.
- Operates laundry machinery and uses chemicals safely and efficiently to achieve optimal cleaning results.
- Sorts employee uniforms and guest items by type and required treatment (e.g., washing, dry cleaning, pressing, repair).
- Processes clothing and linens using the correct equipment, ensuring proper temperature and chemical use for each load.
- Hangs, folds, and transports cleaned uniforms and garments to designated areas, such as the uniform room or guest service counters.
- Inspects items for stains, damage, or needed repairs, and takes appropriate action for each item.
- Maintains a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
- Follows company policies and procedures regarding laundry operations and guest service protocols.
- Collaborates with team members to ensure timely completion of daily laundry tasks and effective distribution of clean items.
- Professionally interacts with clients, customers, and fellow team members, representing the company’s commitment to service excellence.
- Assists in inventory control by reporting low stock or issues with linens or uniforms to management.
- Completes other duties as assigned to support business needs and ensure smooth operation of the laundry department.
