Laundry Attendant - Summary- Provides essential laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Ensures cleanliness and order in laundry rooms and storage areas.
- Delivers quality customer service by maintaining high standards of linen care and cleanliness.
- Supports the overall mission of the organization by contributing to a welcoming and hygienic environment.
- Properly sort, wash, and dry linens following established laundry procedures to ensure optimal cleanliness and longevity of materials.
- Fold, count, and stack linens using approved methods to maintain organization and efficient distribution.
- Collect soiled linens from designated areas and redistribute clean linens as required by facility needs.
- Transport supplies, including both clean and soiled linens, to appropriate storage and collection areas within the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of linens to identify wear and tear, and follow standard operating procedures for handling damaged items.
- Maintain commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition, adhering to all relevant health and safety standards.
- Provide quality customer service by delivering one-on-one attention to detail and addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support overall operational efficiency.
