Laundry Attendant - Summary- Performs comprehensive laundry services, including cleaning, sorting, and distribution of linens for hospitality clients and guests.
- Supports daily operations by maintaining high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Works as part of a collaborative team, ensuring smooth workflow and professional interactions with all individuals.
- Sorts, washes, and dries linens, towels, and other laundry items according to approved procedures and safety guidelines.
- Folds, counts, and stacks clean linens for redistribution, maintaining accurate records where required.
- Collects soiled linens from designated areas and ensures proper handling and transport to the laundry facility.
- Transports clean and soiled linens and supplies to appropriate storage and collection areas efficiently and safely.
- Inspects linens for damage, wear, and tear, following standard procedures for handling and reporting damaged items.
- Maintains commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.
- Provides attentive customer service, focusing on detail and responding to client needs as required.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support the housekeeping and laundry team.
