Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Summary- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns during the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective clinical outcomes
- Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Support, educate, and advocate for patients and their families throughout the childbirth process
- Monitor laboring patients and identify any changes in maternal or fetal status
- Utilize advanced fetal monitoring technology and interpret results accurately
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed
- Provide emotional support and patient education to mothers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and implement necessary interventions
- Float to the Operating Room as needed to assist with obstetric procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive environment

- Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
- Minimum of 2 years recent labor and delivery experience in a clinical setting
- At least 1 year of prior travel RN experience
- Ability and willingness to float to the Operating Room when required
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
