Kitchen Manager - Summary
- Responsible for overseeing all back-of-house kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and consistency.
- Leads a large team in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Acts as a key liaison between kitchen and front-of-house management to deliver seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Utilizes bilingual skills (Spanish/English) to communicate effectively with a diverse staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the back-of-house team to achieve peak performance in a high-volume kitchen setting.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage labor costs, food inventory, and kitchen expenses using systems such as Restaurant365.
- Create and manage prep lists, staff schedules, and daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment conducive to high productivity and morale.
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, setting clear goals and accountability standards.
- Work closely with front-of-house management to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Lead by example on the line, demonstrating hands-on leadership and a commitment to excellence in every shift.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, essential for effective team communication and training.
- Demonstrated expertise in back-of-house operations, including staff scheduling, food preparation, inventory management, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Experience with Restaurant365 or comparable back-of-house management systems.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the demands of a busy restaurant.
