Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of kitchen staff, including chefs, line cooks, and prep personnel. Foster a positive work environment that values teamwork, open communication, and ongoing development. Provide training and mentorship to enhance culinary skills and uphold standards.
- Food Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and safety. Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and take corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Manage food inventory levels, minimize waste, and implement portion control measures. Work collaboratively with management to develop and monitor kitchen budgets, control expenses, and optimize workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen team members on proper cooking techniques, plating, adherence to recipes, and food safety standards. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement to promote skill development and retention.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, including food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to compliance.

Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Culinary Manager in a scratch kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in inventory management and cost control.
