Kitchen Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. The Kitchen Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of daily kitchen activities, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and delivering an outstanding dining experience to every guest. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing both front of house and back of house operations, supporting team development, and implementing company standards to maximize performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily kitchen and restaurant operations, including performing opening, mid-day, and closing duties to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Deliver superior guest service by consistently monitoring and improving customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate communication and collaboration between front of house and back of house staff and management teams to ensure seamless operation.
- Mentor, coach, and support team members to promote professional growth and a positive work environment.
- Recommend hiring and termination decisions to the general manager and assist with onboarding new employees by scheduling training and supervising their integration into the team.
- Oversee all financial responsibilities related to kitchen operations, including inventory control, food ordering, and achieving labor cost targets.
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales, minimize costs (food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor), and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.

Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high-volume, full-service, corporate casual dining restaurant environment.
- Executive kitchen management experience preferred.
- Proficiency with restaurant management software and technology systems.
- Strong customer service orientation, with excellent communication and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and stand or walk for extended periods (8 to 10 hours per shift).
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, direct, and lead managers and employees across all levels of the restaurant.
