Janitor - Summary- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility by performing a variety of cleaning tasks.
- Support the health and safety of patients, visitors, and staff through consistent sanitation practices.
- Follow all procedures, regulations, and company standards to deliver exceptional custodial services.
- Be an integral part of a nationwide leader in laundry processing and facility maintenance services.
- Collect and dispose of trash in accordance with approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dust and damp mop floors using established methods for optimal cleanliness.
- Move equipment and furniture as required for proper cleaning; return items to their original locations.
- Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a pristine environment.
- Identify and address areas in need of cleaning proactively, taking initiative to ensure high standards.
- Complete all assigned tasks from supervisors efficiently and professionally.
- Strictly adhere to all federal, state, and county cleaning and safety guidelines.
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors as well as shampoo carpets as required.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by exhibiting professionalism and respect toward colleagues and clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall facility operations.
